# Text and web processors

Text processors clean up and reshape values, and web processors read the open web. None of them need a credential.

## Text

* **Combine Text** merges several columns into one string, written with `/` chips and your own text.
* **HTML to Markdown** and **Markdown to HTML** convert between the two, for cleaning scraped pages or preparing email bodies.
* **URL to Domain** reduces a full web address to just the domain.
* **Normalize Company Name**, **Normalize Person Name**, and **Normalize Location** use AI to clean messy values into a consistent, natural form, worth running before outreach or matching.
* **Extract Field From Object** pulls one field out of an object cell into its own flat column. Use dots for nested paths like `address.city` and brackets for list items like `items[0].name`, which is the way to reach deep inside rich results.

## Web

* **Web Search** and **News Search** run a Google search per row, with filters for date range, country, and language.
* **Web Scraper** fetches one page's content, and **Web Crawler** follows links from a starting page up to a limit you set.
* **Validate URL** checks an address actually works, and **Get Domain Redirect** follows redirects to where a domain really lands, both useful cleanup steps before enriching from a URL column.
