A Space is a full-stack web app that QX builds and deploys for you, like a sales pipeline your team updates or a portal where clients track their projects. Every Space has sign-in, a database, and its own web address. Every plan includes Spaces. The Free plan includes one Space, which you can take live like any other; Pro and Enterprise have no limit.
Build a Space
Ask QX in chat for the app you want, and say who it’s for.
Build a Support Desk where customers sign up with an email and submit requests, and our team signs in with QX to reply and resolve them.
QX builds the app, tests it, and replies with a link.
Open the link and sign in. People sign in to a Space with their QX account, with an email and password if you asked QX to build it for people outside your organization, or not at all if you asked for a public app.
Then you’re in the app. To change anything, ask QX in the same chat.
If the app works with data that changes, like emails or deals, ask QX for a schedule. The Space then refreshes its data at the interval you choose.
Manage your Spaces
Spaces in the sidebar lists every Space built for you or shared with you.
Click one to see its screenshots and addresses.
Open Settings to rename or delete it.
Every Space has a preview address for trying it out and a production address for everyday use. When the preview looks right, ask QX to deploy it to production.
On the Free plan, a Space that nobody deploys or signs in to for 30 days is deleted. You get an email before that happens, and opening the Space or asking QX to deploy it keeps it. If you move from Pro to Free with more than one Space, the one you used most recently stays live and the others go back to preview.
A new Space is private to you. Share it with your team or with specific people from its Access tab, or switch on Anyone with the link to open it to everyone. That switch applies to the production address only.
Apps and credits
A Space can use any of your connected apps, acting as you whoever is using it, and QX asks you to connect any app it needs. The Apps section on the Space’s page lists the apps it uses.
AI is built in. Ask QX to add an AI feature to a Space, like drafting replies or summing up notes, and it works with any of QX’s models. AI features spend your organization’s credits.
