Overview

Connected Apps, under Tools in the sidebar, is where you link QX to the other apps you work with, like Gmail, Slack, Notion, and Salesforce. Connect an app once and it becomes available across the platform: agents can use its tools, flows can read and write through it, grids can enrich data with it, and knowledge can import files from it. Everything you enter here is encrypted on our side, and a connection stays private to you unless you choose to share it.

Connect an app

Click Add Credential and search for the app. Give the connection a name, choose who can use it, and connect. How that last step works depends on the app:

• Most apps sign in with OAuth. Click Continue, approve access in the tab that opens, and you’re done.
• Some apps use an API Key instead. Copy the key from the provider’s account settings, paste it into the form, and save. A few ask for extra details, like a host URL.

You can connect the same app more than once, for example a personal and a team Gmail account, and each connection keeps its own name and sharing setting.

1,000+ apps through Composio

QX partners with Composio to offer more than 1,000 additional apps, from HubSpot and Linear to Attio and beyond. They appear in the same picker with a Composio badge, so just search for the app you need and connect it the same way. A few of them show Requires setup, contact us if you’d like one of those enabled. These are also the apps agents use: when you pick which apps an agent can work with, you’re choosing from your Composio connections.

Sharing

Every credential has a Sharing setting: Just me (private), My organisation, or Specific people. You choose it when you connect the app and can change it any time from the Share button on the credential’s row. Sharing lets teammates use the connection in their own agents, flows, and grids, but only the owner can change its sharing or delete it.

Manage your connections

The page lists your credentials grouped by app, along with any shared with you. Connections made with an API key have an Edit button for updating the key. Before a credential is deleted, QX shows you everything that depends on it, such as flows that would stop or agents that would lose tools, so you know the impact before you confirm.
